At Shakes-PR, we are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your information.
When you input a git diff
into Shakes-PR, both the original diff and the
generated PR title and description are stored directly in your web browser's IndexedDB.
This means that your data remains on your local machine. The Shakes-PR
development team, or any other third party, does not have access to your input (the git diff
) or the output (the generated PR title and description). Your data is
not stored in our servers in any way.
To generate PR titles and descriptions, Shakes-PR utilizes the Claude 3.7 Sonnet model by Anthropic. This model is accessed via an endpoint provided and hosted by Datasaur - LLM Labs within their deployed Sandbox application.
While the git diff
data is sent to this endpoint for processing by the AI
model, it is important to understand the data handling policies of these third-party services.
We encourage you to review their respective policies:
We designed Shakes-PR with your privacy as a priority. By leveraging local browser storage for your primary data and being transparent about the AI services we use, we aim to provide a helpful tool while respecting your data ownership.
If you have any further questions or concerns about our data privacy practices, please do not hesitate to contact us.
